Jasmine Cheung (b.1992) based in Taiwan and Hong Kong, is a curator-artist, and director/producer (stage and film). Influenced by Hiroshi Sugimoto and Sophie Calle, focus on the presentation of time in images and private experience as an empathic experience that hovers between the private and the public in artistic techniques.

Studying Contemporary Visual Culture and Practice (MFA) at the National Taiwan University of Art, Kougengaku is her recent MFA research, returning to the histoire evenementielle (history of events) of a specific era as observed through purely object observation, analysing the significance of Asian contemporary art in visual culture and sociology.

Former Gallery Operation Supervisor and Programme Coordinator in Tai Kwun Contemporary (Hong Kong), also an independent programme/ exhibition curator, producer for films, stage and music album projects. Also experienced in, Art Director, Production Design, Film Production, and Project Management (Public Programme, Stage, Film), by researching and developing thematic tailor-made and site-specific ideas.  

Experienced on supporting and administration, research and programme development, pitching different media for promotion purpose, sponsorship and taking care to Artist during their job with an outgoing and pleasant personality. Willing to learn and extensive background in England and China education experience, fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and self-learned Korean.
